Mucha is a Brno-based pop-punk band led by singer-songwriter Nikola Muchová, known for her flamboyant style and provocative lyrics. Her songs tackle themes like male incompetence, gender injustice, and life in Brno. The current lineup includes Nikola Muchová, Jakub Kočička, and A. m. Almela.
As a power trio, they proved that three can be enough. The band overcame the threat of complete disbandment after losing a key guitar support, which was soon replaced by a powerful stomp board that Nikola uses like a wild instrument. Mucha’s songs, in a rock guise, are intense and sensual.
