Live performances are its core feature. Ventolin works with real hardware instruments and sequencers; computers are used only for visuals. The music draws inspiration from diverse sources\u2014from early electronic experiments to disco, acid, and techno, as well as pop, punk, and even folk and country.<br>The project started in 2007 as a fun one-night act but quickly became central to David\u2019s work, perfectly fitting his performative interests while providing immense enjoyment.<br>In 2012, Ventolin released its first LP Totem, collaborating with visual artists from The Rodina, who created the successful Totem music video. This established a distinctive audiovisual identity alongside the energetic live shows. Subsequent releases include the Supersonik video and EP (2015) and a split LP with the enigmatic Polish collective RSS B0YS, the game YS R0TTYN (2016).<br>Ventolin has since performed hundreds of concerts across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Europe, and Japan.<br>In 2017, the breakthrough album Vitajte included the single Disco Science, now with over 2.5 million YouTube views. Focused more on songs, the album strengthened Ventolin\u2019s live performance connection with audiences, resulting in extensive touring and growing fan engagement.\nPandemic years produced the introspective album Dneska se vy\u010dasilo, reflecting on the disruption caused by fame, alongside a reinvented, high-energy live show toured across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and the UK.<br>In February 2025, Ventolin released V\u0161echno nejlep\u0161\u00ed, featuring hits like Kdy\u017e jedu z hub, Vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed inteligence, and Fe\u0161\u00e1k, blending breakbeat, acid, trance, and rap with award-winning producer and rapper MC Gey. Kdy\u017e jedu z hub became Ventolin\u2019s biggest hit since Disco Science, boosted by a remarkable video by Pavel Borovi\u010dka and Petr Novotn\u00fd.
