The group Moimir Papalescu & The Nihilists combines electronic music with various musical styles such as electro, post-punk, disco, country, psychedelia or pop. From these ingredients they mixes a new, explosive blend of hypnotic and dance music.

In the past MPATN have also often been classified as electroclash, although the members themselves implicitly deny this.

In 2004 the band received the Czech "Grammy" - the Academy of Popular Music Andel Award for their first album "Analogue Voodoo", which was a huge success.

Now, after 15 years, the band is back and after two singles "Jerry the Lizard" and "Interspecies Love", which scored on Radio 1's "Big Seven" chart, they're busily preparing their next music. There is talk of the event of the year and leaked news of a new album scheduled for autumn 2023. Hand in hand with this is the resumption of concert activity, with the band promising to play not only songs from previous years but especially new songs.
